Civil Rights and Non-Discrimination The Mississippi Department of Human Services complies with all Federal and State regulations which prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, age, sex, gender identification, national origin, religious creed, disability, political beliefs or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity as defined through the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. All complaints of discrimination will be investigated in accordance with Federal and State laws and regulations.
