Timeframe for Final Decision by Receiving State – The Receiving State must provide a final approval or denial of the placement in the form of a signed ICPC- 100A as follows: 1. A final decision for requests under Regulations 1 and 2 must be provided within 180 calendar days of the ICPC office’s receipt of the referral packet. a. If a Regulation 2 request is denied, the Sending Agency may request reconsideration with or without a new home study within ninety (90) days of the date ICPC-100A was signed. 2. A final decision for expedited requests under Regulation 7 must be provided within twenty (20) calendar days of the ICPC office’s receipt of the completed referral packet. 3. A final decision for residential facility requests under Regulation 4 must be provided within five (5) business days of the ICPC office’s receipt of a completed referral packet. 4. A final decision for private adoption requests under Regulation 12 must be provided within five (5) business days of the ICPC office’s receipt of a completed referral packet.
