General Safety 1. A Partner Provider must have access to twenty-four (24) hour telephone service. Telephones must be centrally located and readily available for staff use in each living unit of the facility and any building that houses children. Emergency numbers including the fire department, police department, medical services, poison control and ambulance services must be posted near the telephones. 2. Sharp objects and hazardous equipment must be double locked by securing in a locked drawer or cabinet behind a locked door. 3. The facility must be free of rodents and insects and routinely inspected by a licensed pest control service.
