ARM 2.43.2311. LIMITATIONS ON PURCHASES OF SERVICE

(1) A PERS member may not purchase service unless and until the member elects to participate in the PERS Defined Benefit Retirement Plan. (2) A retirement system member may not purchase the same period of military, federal volunteer service, or public service employment in more than one retirement system. (3) A retirement system member may not receive service credit for any purchase of service related to any calendar month for which full service credit has already been granted. (4) Retired members may not purchase service.
