ARM 2.43.2311. LIMITATIONS ON PURCHASES OF SERVICE

(1) A PERS member may not purchase service unless and until the member elects to participate in the PERS Defined Benefit Retirement Plan. (2) A retirement system member may not purchase the same period of military, federal volunteer service, or public service employment in more than one retirement system. (3) A retirement system member may not receive service credit for any purchase of service related to any calendar month for which full service credit has already been granted.
