Number 26-B-09 TO: ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES WRITING PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE COVERAGE IN NORTH CAROLINA FROM: MIKE CAUSEY, COMMISSIONER OF INSURANCE DATE: June 17, 2026 SUBJECT: COMMERCIAL LIABILITY DATA CALL The purpose of this bulletin is to inform your company of an NCDOI data call regarding commercial liability insurance for childcare centers, in home childcare, foster care, private schools, and churches. Any company that has collected premium for general liability, errors and omissions, directors and officers, or sexual abuse and molestation coverage in the state of North Carolina for childcare centers, in home childcare, foster care, private schools, and/or churches from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2025 must complete this data call. No response is required from all other providers. This data call applies to all licensed property & casualty insurers and authorized surplus line insurers.
