Number 26-B-10 TO: ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES WRITING PROPERTY & CASUALTY INSURANCE COVERAGE IN NORTH CAROLINA FROM: MIKE CAUSEY, COMMISSIONER OF INSURANCE DATE: June 17, 2026 SUBJECT: PERSONAL LINES PROPERTY CATASTROPHE REINSURANCE DATA CALL The purpose of this bulletin is to inform your company of an NCDOI data call regarding catastrophe reinsurance for personal lines property policies. Any company that has collected premium for homeowners, personal dwelling, or mobile home policies under the jurisdiction of the North Carolina Rate Bureau during the calendar years of 2025 and/or 2026, the North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association, and the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association must complete this data call. No response is required from all other providers. This data call applies to all licensed property & casualty insurers and authorized surplus line insurers.
