RE: Discharging Real Estate Mortgage
Your letter of August 30, 1949, to Honorable Wallace E. Warner,
attorney general, has been received.
In your letter you ask regarding the fee to be charged by the clerk
of the district court for the filing of application and order in the
matter of discharging a real estate mortgage.
Your are informed, under the wording of the statute, this office
holds that the filing fee in such cases is the sum of seven dollars
and fifty cents.
