A. Advance permission needed. No witness nor witness’s counsel may appear telephonically for any hearing without first obtaining the permission and an order from the court at least two (2) days prior to the scheduled hearing. This rule may be suspended in emergency circumstances or on a showing of good cause. B. Rule 1-066 controls. Rule 1-066 NMRA shall strictly control any ex parte appearance or request by counsel or a party before the court and an attorney’s or pro se litigant’s affidavit shall be filed demonstrating efforts to provide notice to the opposing party or counsel in all instances.
