A licensed consultant who is accredited as a project designer may: 1. Design, prepare and evaluate specifications for projects for the abatement of asbestos. 2. Prepare bidding documents, architectural drawings and schematic representations of locations of material. 3. Determine the method by which asbestos abatement should be conducted. 4. Assess the health hazards associated with the presence of materials containing asbestos in buildings.
