FIN 2010-02 TO: INSURANCE COMPANIES AND SURPLUS LINES LICENSEES RE: OPTins FROM: OKLAHOMA INSURANCE DEPARTMENT DATE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2010 The Oklahoma Insurance Department recently issued a bulletin dated September 1, 2010 that required the use of OPTins beginning with the fourth quarter filing. After a careful consideration of the industry’s concerns, the Department has decided not to mandate OPTins at this time.
