Waterworks operator

(a) A certified waterworks operator may perform all duties relating to the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants, groundwater systems, and storage, and distribution systems, including purchased-water systems and nontransient, noncommunity non-transient, non- community systems. (b) Laboratory work mustshall be performed under the general supervision of a properly certified laboratory operator. (c) A designated certified operator shall be available for each operating shift.
