OAR 860-036-1830. Reduction of Approved Service Territory Boundaries

(1) A water utility may apply to decrease its designated service territory. The application must demonstrate that the water utility is not providing adequate service to its customers or does not have the capacity to serve the designated exclusive service territory. (2) Within 15 calendar days of the filing date of the application, a water utility must provide written notice to each customer that contains the information required by OAR 860-036-1810(2) as modified to reflect the request to decrease service territory.
