Commonwealth of Puerto Rico OFFICE OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF INSURANCE San Juan, Puerto Rico Circular Letter #5-134-56 May 24, 1956 TO ALL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANIES AND THEIR AGENCIES IN PUERTO RICO Gentlemen: We request that the following information on Puerto Rican business be submitted to this Office as of December 31, 1955; and annually as of December 31 of each succeeding calendar year: 1. Number of policies in force. (Industrial and Ordinary). 2. Number of Group Certificates. 3. Accumulated Dividends. 4. Outstanding Policy Loans. 5. Reserves. This information was submitted last year as of December 31, 1954. There has been an apparent misunderstanding as to the permanent nature of this requirement since we have not received the reports corresponding to calendar year 1955. These reports should be in this Office before June 30, 1956, and before May 15 of each succeeding year.
