S.C. Code Regs. 12-608.7. Incident Reports

A. Description: Records the original report of a felony or incident and pertinent facts surrounding the offense. Information includes incident type, case number, NCIC entry, incident code, premise type, incident location, incident date, time, date reporting area, complainant, victim information, subject (suspect) data, arrest data (if applicable), vehicle data (if applicable), witness data (if applicable), narrative, and UCR data administrative section. B. Retention: 5 years or until of no further legal or administrative value, whichever comes later, then destroy.
