Definitions

(1) “Department” or “DCS” means the Department of Children’s Services. (2) “Foster Child” means a child or youth that has been placed in the legal custody or guardianship of the Department of Children’s Services. (3) “Foster Child Bill of Rights” means the actual document given to a foster child that lists the child’s rights.
