R547-15-1. Authority and Purpose

(1)(a) Section 26B-1-202 authorizes the Department of Health and Human Services to adopt rules. (b) Subsection 80-5-202(1)(c) requires the Division of Juvenile Justice and Youth Services (division) to make rules that establish a formula to calculate the savings from General Fund appropriations, resulting from the reduction in out-of-home placements for juvenile offenders with the division. (2) This rule establishes the formula required by Subsection 80-5-202(1)(c).
