Division of Human Resource Management created -- Director -- Chief Human Resources Officer -- Staff.

(1) There is created within the department, the Division of Human Resource Management. (2) The division shall be administered by a director appointed by the executive director, with the approval of the governor. (3) The director shall: (a) be a person with experience in human resource management; (b) be accountable to the executive director for the director's performance in office; (c) serve as the chief human resource officer for the state executive branch; and (d) advise the governor on human resource matters and policies.
