WAC 16-309-070. Laboratory personnel performing moderate complexity testing

Personnel performing moderate complexity testing must be qualified on the basis of education, training, experience and demonstrated skills, and must meet the following minimum requirements: (1) Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent; (2) Have documented training to perform the test; (3) Have the skills required for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration procedures related to each test performed; (4) Have the skills required to implement the quality control policies and procedures of the laboratory; (5) Have the awareness of factors that influence test results; (6) Be evaluated for competencies to perform the test by someone who is already qualified to perform the test; (7) Be approved by the scientific director to perform the test.
