General requirements for animal feeding operations. (1) Livestock performance standards and prohibitions. (a) Owners and operators of animal feeding operations shall comply with the livestock performance standards and prohibitions in accordance with the requirements s. NR 151.095 . (b) The department may grant a variance to livestock performance standards or accepted management practices consistent with s. NR 151.097 . A variance may not be granted to a livestock prohibition or other statutory requirements.
