Ch. 5, § 2. Health Officer or Designee Action

The Health Officer shall take any or all of the following steps: (a) Determine from the prisoner's record and/or personal interview whether the individual is at risk for a sexually transmitted disease. (b) May isolate prisoner(s) with treatable sexually transmitted diseases within the facility to pre- vent the spread of infection. (c) Provide prisoner(s) infected with a curable sexually transmitted disease(s) with the minimum medical care and treatment to affect a cure. (d) In the case of individuals(s) infected with an incurable sexually transmitted disease, provide for the minimum care and treatment of the individual(s).
