Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. My name is Father's name, and I am the father of Child's name, who has been allotted admission vide Registration No. RTE admission registration number for the Session 2024-25 in Class Nursery/Pre-school at School name under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE Act). This Act mandates that private schools reserve 25% of their seats for children from economically weaker sections and disadvantaged groups, with the State reimbursing the costs as part of the public-private partnership arrangement.

While I am deeply grateful for the opportunity afforded to my child to receive quality education at your esteemed institution, I must respectfully bring to your kind attention our present financial hardship. My family and I are in a very challenging economic situation and struggle to meet our daily needs. Despite our best efforts to secure a better future for our child, my income is insufficient to cover the costs of the school uniform and books as demanded by the school during the admission process.

The Right to Education Act is a significant initiative aimed at providing equal educational opportunities to all children, irrespective of their economic background. It is within this framework that I earnestly seek your kind intervention. I humbly request you to kindly consider exempting the cost of the uniform and books for my child. Granting this exemption will ensure that my child's education is not compromised on account of our economic difficulties. Your support will make a meaningful difference to our lives and will enable my child to pursue education without any hindrance.

As per the provisions of the Right to Education Act, it is the responsibility of the State to ensure that the education of children admitted under the Act is free of cost. The Act emphasises that no child should be denied education owing to an inability to pay for such necessities.

I have annexed the admission confirmation issued under the RTE Act. I kindly request you to consider the present application favourably and to grant us this exemption.
