23 CAR § 465-307. Pressure

(a) Minimum pressure. Each water utility shall operate water distribution systems in such a manner that a minimum pressure of twenty pounds per square inch gauge (20 psig) is maintained in all mains in the distribution system under all conditions of demand. (b) Maximum pressure. Each water utility shall operate water distribution systems so that water pressure does not exceed one hundred twenty-five pounds per square inch gauge (125 psig) in all mains in the distribution system under all conditions of demand.
