Karen Weldin Stewart, CIR-ML Commissioner [LOGO] Delaware Department of Insurance ## PRODUCERS & ADJUSTERS BULLETIN NO. 19 TO: ALL INSURERS, LICENSING SERVICES, AND LICENSEES RE: DISCOUNT MEDICAL PLAN ORGANIZATION COMPLIANCE DATE DATED: June 9, 2011 Senate Bill 228, regulating Discount Medical Plan Organizations, was signed into law on August 30, 2010. The law became effective 180 days from the date of signing. It has come to the Department's attention that the Discount Medical Plan Organizations have been unable to come into compliance with the filing provisions of this law within the 180 day deadline. An extension of time is granted until June 30, 2011 for the Discount Medical Plan Organizations to come into compliance.
