(a) Section 503 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 is amended by striking out “(a)” where it appears after “Sec. 503.”, by striking out “Federal share of”, and by striking out subsection (b) of such section. (b) Section 303(b)(3) of such Act is amended by striking out “503(a) (4)” and inserting in lieu thereof “503(4)”. (c) Section 502(b) of such Act is amended by striking out “Federal share (as defined in section 503(b) ) of the” and by striking out the last sentence of paragraph (2) thereof. (d) Section 504 of such Act is amended by striking out “section 503(a)” both times it appears and inserting in lieu thereof “section 503”.
