SEC. 2407. DESIGN FOR REPLACEMENT FACILITIES FOR FITZSIMONS Contracts. ARMY MEDICAL CENTER. Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall enter into a contract for the preparation of the concept design of replacement facilities for the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center located in Aurora, Colorado. The contract shall require that the concept design for the replacement facilities shall— (1) be completed not later than September 30, 1992; (2) provide for a capacity of not less than 400 beds; and (3) accommodate future expansion in the event that such expansion becomes necessary as the result of increased peacetime need or to meet mobilization requirements.
