availability of information to congress Sec. 113. (a) Section 7(c) of the Export Administration Act of 1969 is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new sentences: “Nothing in this Act shall be construed as authorizing the withholding of information from Congress, and any information obtained under this Act, including any report or license application required under section 4(b), shall be made available upon request to any committee or subcommittee of Congress of appropriate jurisdiction. No such committee or subcommittee shall disclose any information obtained under this Act which is submitted on a confidential basis unless the full committee determines that the withholding thereof is contrary to the national interest.”. (b) Section 4(c)(1) of such Act is amended by inserting immediately before the period at the end of the last sentence thereof “and in the last two sentences of section 7(c) of this Act”.
