SEC. 105. PRESUMPTION OF SERVICE-CONNECTION FOR CERTAIN RADIATION-EXPOSED RESERVISTS.Section 312(c) is amended— (1) in paragraph (1)— (A) by striking out “during the veteran’s service on active duty” and inserting in lieu thereof “during active military, naval, or air service”; and (B) by striking out “during the period” and inserting in lieu thereof “during a period”; and (2) in paragraph (4)(A)— (A) by inserting “(i)” after “means”; and (B) by inserting before the period at the end the following: “, or (ii) an individual who, while a member of a reserve component of the Armed Forces, participated in a radiation-risk activity during a period of active duty for training or inactive duty training”.
