SEC. 356. BANK PROTECTION ACT OF 1968. The Bank Protection Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1881 et seq.) is amended—(1) in section 2 (12 U.S.C. 1881), by striking “the term” and all that follows through the end of the section and inserting “the term ‘Federal supervisory agency’ means the appropriate Federal banking agency, as defined in section 3(q) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (12 U.S.C. 1813(q)).”;(2) in section 3 (12 U.S.C. 1882), by striking “and loan” each place that term appears; and(3) in section 5 (12 U.S.C. 1884), by striking “and loan”.
