SEC. 357. BANK SERVICE COMPANY ACT. The Bank Service Company Act (12 U.S.C. 1861 et seq.) is amended—(1) in section 1(b)(4) (12 U.S.C. 1861(b)(4))—(A) by inserting after “an insured bank,” the following: “a savings association,”;(B) by striking “Director of the Office of Thrift Supervision” and inserting “appropriate Federal banking agency”; and124 STAT. 1548(C) by striking “, the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation,”;(2) in section 1(b)(5), by striking “term ‘insured depository institution’ has the same meaning as in section 3(c)” and inserting “terms ‘depository institution’ and ‘savings association’ have the same meanings as in section 3”; and(3) in section 7(c)(2) (12 U.S.C. 1867(c)(2)), by inserting “each” after “notify”.
