410 IAC 7-26-246 Accuracy of food temperature measuring devices

Sec. 246. (a) Food temperature measuring devices that are scaled only in Fahrenheit must be accurate to plus or minus two (±2) degrees Fahrenheit in the intended range of use. (b) Food temperature measuring devices that are scaled only in Celsius or dually scaled in Celsius and Fahrenheit must be accurate to plus or minus one (±1) degree Celsius in the intended range of use. (c) For purposes of this section, a violation of subsection (a) or (b) is a PF item.
