410 IAC 7-26-247 Accuracy of ambient air and water temperature measuring devices

Sec. 247. (a) Ambient air and water temperature measuring devices that are scaled in Fahrenheit must be accurate to plus or minus three (±3) degrees Fahrenheit in the intended range of use. (b) Ambient air and water temperature measuring devices that are dually scaled in Celsius and Fahrenheit must be designed to be easily readable and accurate to plus or minus one and five-tenths (±1.5) degrees Celsius in the intended range of use. (c) For purposes of this section, a violation of subsection (a) or (b) is a PF item.
