LAC 51:VII.2317. Bacteriological Requirements

A. All butter and butter related products shall conform with the following microbial requirements:
1. standard plate countnot to exceed 1,000 cfu per gram;
2. coliform countnot to exceed 10 per gram; and,
3. pathogensno pathogenic microorganisms of human significance.
