-4: Installation Inspection Requirements A. Beginning July 1, 2009, every Factory-Built home that is sited within the State of Mississippi shall be subject to inspection under the MS Inspection Program prior to occupation. Said inspection shall be conducted by an inspector assigned by the State Fire Marshal’s Office to verify that the installation of the Factory-Built home meets the manufacturers’ published installation instructions and the MS Installation Standards as found herein. B. Furthermore, each retailer/developer and/or installer/transporter shall certify, by submitting a Property Locator/Certificate of Installation Form to the State Fire Marshal’s Office indicating that they have installed said Factory-Built home in accordance with the requirements set forth by the manufacturers published installation instructions and the MS Installation Standards as found herein.
