Expedited Relative: Post-Placement Activities – Within three (3) business days of a child entering MDCPS custody and being placed with an Expedited Relative Foster Parent, the home study process will be initiated and completed within ninety (90) days of the child’s placement in the home. The Expedited Relative Foster Family becomes eligible for Board Payments at the time the home becomes licensed. If the Expedited Relative Foster Home cannot satisfy the licensure requirements and/or the child is unsafe, the home will be denied licensure and the court notified of the licensure recommendation.
