Local standards; adulteration and misbranding.

1. A person within this State shall not sell, offer for sale or possess with intent to sell any raw milk or product made from it that: (a) Has not been produced in conformity with the regulations and standards adopted by the county milk commission in the county in which it is produced and certified by that county milk commission. This prohibition does not apply to a dairy licensed to produce unpasteurized grade A milk for sale to a licensed milk plant. (b) Is adulterated or misbranded. 2. The Director may require such chemical and physical tests to detect the adulteration of raw milk or products made from it as the Director deems necessary.
