Quirós, Puerto Rico Secretary of Labor and Human Resources pursuant to the authority conferred by Section 8 of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act, Act Number 16 of August 5, 1975 (LPRA) as amended, hereby amend the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Regulation Number Four (Part 1910) approved on February 1st, 1978 by adopting the revision to Section 1910.309 "National Electric Code" which appears in the Federal Register, Volume 41 Number 246 of December 21, 1976. (iii) Each cord set, attachment cap, plug and receptacle of cord sets, and any equipment connected by. cord and plug, except cord sets and receptacles which are fixed and not exposed to damage, shall be visually inspected before each day's use for external defects, such as deformed or missing pins or insulation damage, and for indication of possible internal damage.
