This is the Sunrise IT v. Meridian Traders matter. You act for the tenant. I'll draft under Indian law for the Delhi courts, with the 15-day cure period you use for statutory notices.

“It drafts like someone who has read our files”

We used to lose the first two days of every matter to reading in. Justis pulls the chronology, flags the limitation issue, and hands back a draft that already sounds like our firm. Our associates start from an argument now, not a blank page.

Vinod Kumar YadavPartner, Litigation, Delhi
“The citations hold up when the bench checks them”

That was the test for us. Every authority it gives is traceable to the reported judgment, and it tells us plainly when a point is unsettled. We have stopped re-verifying research from scratch, which is where the real hours went.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Justis AI?

An AI associate for Indian lawyers. Give it the file and the task, the way you would brief a junior. It reads, researches, reviews and drafts, and every line links back to its source.

Who uses it?

Litigators and solo advocates, law firms, in-house legal teams, and specialists in corporate, tax, real estate, IP and employment. Anyone in India whose day is reading, checking and drafting legal documents.

What can I ask it to do?

Build the list of dates from a case file. Find the judgments on a point of law and the paragraph that helps. Check a contract against your playbook and mark it up. Answer the same questions across a whole data room. Draft the bail application, the reply or the notice from your own documents.

Why not just use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?

They are built for everyone. Justis is built for Indian lawyers. It works from Indian judgments and Acts instead of guessing at them, works on your own files with tracked changes, and remembers your matters between chats.

Can I trust its answers?

You can check every one. Each fact and citation opens the exact page or paragraph it came from. Citations are checked before you see them, and when it is unsure it says so rather than making something up.

Does it understand Hindi and other Indian languages?

Yes. It reads typed and handwritten documents in Hindi and other Indian languages, and can answer and draft in them.

Does it remember my matters?

Yes. It remembers your matters, the side you act for and how you like things drafted, so you never explain a file twice. You can see, edit or delete what it remembers, or switch memory off.

Is my clients' data safe?

Yes. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest and are never used to train any AI model. Each person sees only the matters they are given, and nothing is sent, filed or changed until you approve it.

Does it work with Word?

Yes. Upload Word, PDF or Excel files and download the work as .docx, .xlsx or .pptx. Changes come back as tracked changes you accept or reject in Word.

How do I start?

Sign up free, open a matter and upload a file. No card needed. For a team, book a 30-minute call and we will walk through a live matter in your practice.
